Gnome Sweet Gnome (NBUS #3)

I am have having a surprise house-warming (or re-warming) party for a friend who is finally moving back into her house after "Superstorm" Sandy (it was no longer technically a hurricane when she hit LI last October - but, boy the damage she did!).
She is thrilled to be back home, but everything needs to be replaced.  She has the essentials (a bed!), but is realizing all the little things that are needed . . .

Here is a photo of the inside:

I used the colors from the Color Throwdown and the sketch from The Paper Players

I think she will like it, and be surprised by the party!

Supplies:
Paper: cardstock: Marco's paper, pattern paper: My Mind's eye
Stamps: Gnome and outside sentiment: Recollections; inside sentiment: Gina K
other: Nestibilities; embellishments from Joann's

Now I have a question for Darnell and anyone else using their Never Been Used Stuff (NBUS):  How are you keeping "count" - is it by the stamp or by the card?  hmmmm - ah well -- I guess it doesn't really matter as long as we USE it!

As always, thanks for looking

  2. I would love to see photos of the house-warming party for your friend, Carol! What a wonderful idea and I love that you've made those fun kits, too! It is a super cute card and the inside is perfect. We take so much for granite, don't we? And yes, oh my, you were uber productive!!

I appreciate so much that you are using NBUS and to answer your question, I'm just numbering them by the post. In some posts, for the actual card(s), I'm using two or even three NBUS, so I thought it would get a little too silly putting all that in a title. However, I am glad I started putting NBUS #_ in the title, like you have done, too, because it has really helped to remind me of my mission. I'm having fun doing it, like a new game!! Thanks again for your support! xxoo Darnell
