I made this card for several challenges:
The first is for One Layer Wednesday - to make a one layer card inspired by your favorite subject. Well, I am a sixth grade science teacher . . . (and it is my favorite subject!).
My school term starts in one week. I can't wait to start. I've already been up to school 3 days to set up my class room. So exciting!!
I also wanted to incorporate the challenge from Less is More which is "Tearing". I accomplished this into a one-layer card, by masking torn paper.
I used the colors from the CR84FN Color challenge which were aqua, kraft, and white.
I followed the sketch from Sketch Frenzy Friday , while I don't have "texture" on the top portion, I am hoping that the "text" background will suffice.
Creative Card Crew's challenge is to use script, or newsprint, or maps.
supplies:
- microscope and paper clips: Gina K Designs
- sentiment: Sweet and Sassy
- text background: unknown
- inks: Stampin Up and PTI chai and chamomile
Brilliant!
