Summer Retirement

Our mailman is retiring at the end of this month.  He's a really nice guy, and he'll be missed. He hopes to enjoy more fishing when he retires. 😀

Happy Anniversary

Hello!  Beach days will be here soon!

Our son's and daughter-in-law's anniversary is coming up. Eight years . . . time flies!  They enjoy the beach, so that inspired my paper heart selections. 

My goal was to create the feeling of a beach (sand at the bottom, sea, 
sun,     sunset).  Jamie likes Disney movies, I was  able to find a small Nemo. The Happy Anniversary was stamped on a washed wood paper for the illusion of boardwalk. 

 The idea for this card was inspired by these 2 cards: My Life in Paper and Jennifer McGuire

I made 2 cards with just a minor change of the sentiment and shells - a birthday card for my 9 year old niece, who is redecorating her room with a beach theme.  The anniversary card for my son and daughter in law, who love the beach.
