Father's Day

This is for my hubby for Father's Day.  He is REALLY  into cars -- of all types.  The stamps, word stamp-die, and flame stencil are all from HoneyBee Stamps. The wood frame die is from Hero Arts.  The stamping is embossed in sliver, and I colored the car with distress inks.

1) Stamplorations Stencil Challenge - Anything Goes - Can you see the stenciled flames on the side of the car?
2) Double Trouble Paper Crafting Challenge - This is a new challenge for me.
Thing 1 (Trouble Maker) -- create a masculine project
Thing 2 (Double Dare) - Link to "Use Your Stuff" Challenge

Thing 3 (Twisted Sister) - use at least one round item -- do tires count?

4) NBUS - Never Before Used Schtuff - the stamp and die (from Honeybee) have never been used before

Here is a pretty picture of a recent sunset. Looks like cotton candy.
Thanks for taking a look.  Until next time.  😷

  1. Yes, I did see the flames on the card and wondered if you had done the artwork on it ... creative and great use of a stencil...CAS and fun card. Thanks for sharing with us at Double Trouble and Use Your Stuff. Please come back for future challenges to see what Thing 1, 2 and 3 have up their sleeve.

  6. What a perfect guy card, Carol! I imagine you've made a few over the years for your car-loving hubby, but I don't know if any of them could top this! I've always loved this car and the blue flames are so cool, along with the silver embossing, and that great wood-grained frame! Keep well and thank you for sharing with everyone at NBUS! Hugs, Darnell (p.s. And thank you for sharing the photo of that stunning sky!)
