Here on LI, NY we are in the midst of another snow storm -- they say it should change to rain - but it is coming down very heavily right now. They had predicted about 3 inches for my area -- we are up to about 6 -- ummm, yeah, ok -- Luckily for me, the school district I work at choose to close today - many others did not.
So I get to play today -- PJ's, Coffee, and Cards -- what could be cozier?
At Paper Trey Ink, they are celebrating their 7th anniversary. Today's Challenge is to introduce
Building Blocks . So the challenge is to go to 9 designers and randomly select a "building block" from the 6 choices. I thought about "cheating" and just selecting what I want (as Nichole says, if you don't have something, you can select something else). But as a
hoarder collector, I pretty much have everything on everyone's list.
So here is what I did truly randomly roll:
Ashely = # 5 color Hawaiian Shores
Betsy = #4 color Sweet Blush
Cristina = #6 color Aqua Mist
Danielle = #5 neutral Soft Stone
Dawn = #2 Sketch
Erin = #5 occasion - friends
Heather = # 1 technique misting (I misted the "friend" banner with a glimmer mist - but it doesn't show up in the photo)
Laura = # 3 embellishment buttons
Melissa - #6 fiber - seam binding
The stamps are Mendhi Medallions and the paper are all from Paper Trey.
I added the Aqua Mist color to the Medallions with color pencil. So this can also go into
Addicted to Stamps Challenge which is to "Make your Mark" with markers, pencils, crayons, etc.
Here is a photo of a snow-covered tree in my front yard, and a view of my neighborhood. I do like to see photos of other neighborhoods around the country, and around the area. It is pretty, but heavy-to-shovel snow.
Hope you are having a good, nice-weather day.
