Brown & Pink
I used this sketch from the Clean and Simple blog
and I embossed the rectangle area for One Layer Wednesday (OLW) being hosted by Karen at Snippets -
I wanted to create an illusion of a sunset on the border, with the color going from brown to pink. . . It's ok, of course it looked much better in my mind than it does on paper.
Here are a few snapshots of how I accomplished the outer area with the embosssing:
This may be my last post for a bit. School starts tomorrow. It's been a great summer!
supplies:
- stamps & paper: PTI
- ink: PTI and Stampin Up and Staz-On
- butterfly: stamped with Staz-On and colored with copic - a bit of glitter on the front
Thanks for looking and your lovely comments.

This pink & brown combo are so pretty together. Will remind me to use these colors as I would not think to use together. A lovely card, and thanks for sharing. Have a great weekend.
