WOYWW - seriously!!!

As some of you know hubby and I are puppy-sitting our 9 month old cocker-poo while our son and daughter-in-law are on their honeymoon.
So -- I had just finished my OLW card -- I wanted to add a bit of ribbon to finish it off -- and I had been working at my dining room table, watching TV, (and drinking a glass of wine).
side note: I don't have a TV in my craft room (yet), and hubby wasn't home - so the dining room it is.
I went to my craft room to try to find the perfect ribbon -- I guess it took a bit longer to find than I thought . . . I should have known he was too quiet  . . .
After getting him away from the wine, I needed to see if anything else had "suffered"  . . .
Here is my OLW card:

I don't know if anyone else has experienced this -- but it was cute -- after I cleaned up!

  8. Oh cute!!! They are worse than children with curiosity. Puppies can cause a lot of fun and disaster. I miss having one, but with our retired schedule we switched to two cats much more independent and can stay alone a few days. Enjoy your crafty time.

  9. Oh how cute! My oldest son's dog Daisy is my "granddaughter" since he has decided he's never having kids (yeah right). One day when she was staying with me and still a puppy I had just gotten home and had three prints, one on canvas, that were given to me by a local artist. I put them on the kitchen table, went to my bedroom (I lived in a small apartment) came back and Daisy had shredded all 3!!! Then she looked at me with those "I love you" eyes and what can you do??? Your pup is darling, even drunk and making a mess :) Have a great rest of your week! Rasz #123

  11. oh dear, and yes - nothing is safe in my room from Custer, oil pastels and baby wipes would be fair game, but luckily I do have my own art space, and the door is ALWAYS shut now if I am not in there, learnt that the hard way. Also NOTHING is safe anywhere from our dog, if we are not in, he is locked in the crate (not left for more than a couple of hours though, dont worry)

Did laugh at you reaching for the camera first though, good shot of the wine glass - hope you had already drunk that.

  12. Oh my God, Carol, that is too darn funny! What a critic!!! Your card was so bad that after he literally "ripped it" (in media speak), he was so exhausted he needed a drink!! This is now my all-time favorite WOYWW post!!

Thank you for belly laugh! (I also love that you just took a breath immediately and reached for the camera, rather than, well, other angry things. It shows what an awesome person you are!!) Hugs, Darnell #16
