CAS using heat embossing

For this card, I used the colors from The Play Date Cafe and the sketch from Clean and Simple .  I flipped the sketch to take advantage of the position of the microscope.

I also used the challenge from Friday Mash-Up - a clean and simple design using heat embossing.
I need to make several thank-you cards for my co-workers.  They are a great bunch of people that did a really nice thing for me.  Since I am a science teacher, I thought this would be appropriate.  And it was quick and easy to create, so I will be able to quickly put together several more.
  • paper - solid: PTI, patterned: My Mind's Eye
  • stamps - image: Gina K; sentiment: Sweet and Sassy
  • other: versamark ink and black embossing powder
Thanks for stopping to look.

  1. So cute...the microscope is such a great idea!

  2. What a fun image and sentiment! That's just in my realm of the world. Love the extra little rhinestones, although I real male scientist may wonder what their "function" is for. Thanks for joining the Friday Mashup this week.

  3. Great CAS card Carol! The sentiment goes perfect with that image of the microscope. Love it! Thanks for playing along with us at the Friday Mashup!

  4. Super cute card! I love the image and sentiment :) The colours/papers you have used are really pretty. Thanks for sharing with us at The Friday Mashup!

  5. Great card - I'd love for you to link up at 52 Card Pickup this week!

  6. Oh, this is such a perfect card for anyone interested in the sciences. What fun!
